Tripura News Official provides digital content, e-papers, premium features, and news services. Digital subscriptions and paid features are activated immediately upon successful payment authorization. Therefore, refunds are governed by the specific conditions outlined below.

3. Eligibility for Refunds

You are eligible for a full (100%) refund under the following conditions:

• Duplicate Charges: You were billed multiple times for the same transaction due to a network glitch or gateway error.
• Payment Debited but Service Not Activated: Your bank account/card/UPI was debited, but the subscription was not activated, and our technical team cannot activate it within 48 hours.
• Verified Service Outage: Continuous unavailability of paid services for over 72 consecutive hours resulting directly from our server infrastructure downtime.

4. In-App Purchases (Google Play Store & Apple App Store)

Purchases made through third-party platforms such as Google Play or Apple App Store are governed by their respective refund policies:

• Google Play Purchases: You can request a refund directly through your Google Play Store account within 48 hours of purchase, or email us your Google Play Order ID (GPA number).
• Apple App Store Purchases: Apple manages all iOS billing and refunds directly. To request a refund for an iOS purchase, please visit reportaproblem.apple.com using your Apple ID.

5. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

• Change of mind after accessing or reading digital newspapers and articles.
• Failure to cancel an active auto-renewing subscription prior to the scheduled renewal date.
• Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms and Conditions.
• Device incompatibility where minimum system requirements stated on Google Play / App Store were not met.

6. Refund Request Process & Required Information

To request a refund, please contact our support team within 7 days of the transaction date with the following details:

• Registered full name and email address / mobile number used in the app.
• Payment Gateway Transaction ID, Order ID, or Google Play GPA Order number.
• Date, time, and amount of the transaction in INR (₹).
• Clear description and proof (screenshot) of the issue or duplicate charge.

7. Mode of Refund & Processing Timeline

All approved refunds are handled in accordance with banking regulations:

• Original Payment Method: Refunds will ONLY be credited back to the original source (the exact bank account, credit card, debit card, or UPI ID used during checkout). We do not issue cash refunds.
• Processing Timeframe: Once verified, our team initiates the refund within 24 to 48 hours. The credited amount will reflect in your account within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank's processing cycle.
